The news - what do you remember?

On an average day you might recall one or two stories. Of course, at the moment there are a couple of big stories dominating that will run on and on. But, what do you remember of those? The images from Japan are quite shocking - it's those images and the people stories that I'll remember.

But, I'll also remember an interview on BBC Breakfast this morning - Japanese violinist Taro Hakase is performing impromptu concerts in the UK to raise money for those in Japan. He just decided he had to do something and went ahead and did what he knows best - a great story. Debbie-I don't often listen to the media these days or read the papers because the majority of news is negative, portraying a picture of human society as fearful,greedy and competitive.
